We reject the notion that artists are merely a reflection of society; we realize that our collective influence upon the consciousness of people at large is immense, and we know that, as musicians and artists, we are influencing people with our work, for which we are indeed responsible.

Therefore we do hereby pledge to use the power of music & the arts to effect and facilitate positive social change whenever possible. This means sowing seeds of compassion, peace, and understanding. So be it.
