Candido -- Candido The Volcanic    ABC -Paramount (180)   1957
{Candido's firey conga is backed by a tight jazz group conducted by Ernie Wilkins. The players include Art Farmer, Jimmy Cleveland, Hank Jones, and Ernie Royal, and although they don't get to solo much, they play nice and hard, and give Candido great support in the background. Tracks include :Peanut Vendor/Takeela/Moonlight In Vermont/Take the "A" Train//Lady In Red/  Kinda' Dukish/Warm Blue Stream/Tin-Tin-Deo}

Candido-- (featuring Al Cohn) (125)  ABC-Paramount,1965

Candido -- Candido's Comparsa (453)  ABC/Paramount,1963
Perhaps the rarest of Candidio's ABC albums, and one of the few that's just all-out Latin, with no other gimmicks. Great stuff with a big group backing up Candido's hard hitting congas, and some nice bits of Latin jazz like "Night In Tunisia", "St. Thomas", "Now's the Time", and "Conga Jam".

Candido 1000 Finger Man-- (18066) Solid State, 1970

Candido Conga Soul--  (R 52078)  Roulette Records,1962

Candido Calypso Dance Party-- (178) ABC-Paramount,1957

Candido -- Latin Fire  (286) ABC-Paramount,1959   One of the best Candido albums for ABC, with tight brassy Latin backing, and some great soloists like Phil Woods and Ernie Royal.
