Performed with Miguelito Valdes, Arsenio Rodriguez, Chano Pozo Percussion Quintet, Stan Kenton, Machito, Chico O'Farrill, Cal Tjader, Eddie Palmieri, Willie Bobo, Count Basie Orchestra, Dizzy Gillespie, Charlie Parker, Herbie Mann, Erroll Garner, Sarah Vaughan, Dexter Gordon, Stan Getz, Carmen MaCrae, Cachao, Jorge Dalto, Ray Charles, Louis Jordan, Xavier Cugat, Tito Rodriguez, Tito Puente, etc. Appeared in the 1946 film The Thrill of Music .
